Social media

Social media for clinics and doctors

Steady, educational posts that support the website and listing: never a replacement for them.

Where social media fits, and where it does not

Social media is a support service at CareInflow. It is not one of the things we lead with, and we will not sell it to a practice whose website or Google listing still needs work. Those come first, every time, because that is where patients actually decide.

What social media does well is confirm. A patient who found you through search often checks your profile before calling. If the last post is from two years ago, that hesitates them. If it shows a practice that explains things clearly and posts steadily, it settles them.

What we post for a healthcare practice

The best clinic content is the answer to a question you already give ten times a week in the chair:

  • What a treatment involves, step by step
  • What recovery actually feels like, honestly
  • When a symptom means “come in today”
  • What affects the cost of a procedure
  • Practical clinic updates, new equipment, festival hours, a new doctor

We write these as short, plain-language posts. You approve everything before it goes out, and you correct anything clinically inaccurate.

Patient privacy comes before content

Healthcare social media has limits that other industries do not. We hold to them even when it costs reach:

  • No clinical photographs without clear written consent
  • No patient stories that could identify someone who has not agreed
  • No replies that confirm whether a person was treated at your clinic
  • No claims about outcomes we cannot support

A post that embarrasses a patient is worse for your practice than no post at all.

What we do not do

We do not run paid advertising, manage ad budgets, chase follower counts, or buy engagement. We do not promise that social media will fill your appointment book. If someone promises you that, ask them how they will measure it.

Start with the foundation

If you are weighing social media, the honest first step is to check whether the two surfaces that matter more are right: your clinic website and your Google Business Profile. The free review covers both, and tells you plainly where social media sits on your list, which is sometimes near the bottom.

Where it fits

Why social media supports the website and listing rather than replacing them.

Confirms

Social media

A patient who already found you checks whether the practice looks active and current. That checking step is what social is genuinely good at.

If your website or listing is not right yet, we will tell you to fix those first, and we will not sell you this.

Questions

Asked about this service

Will social media bring my clinic new patients?

Sometimes, slowly, and rarely on its own. Most patients find a clinic through search and Google Maps, then check social media to see whether the practice looks active and current. That checking step is what social media is genuinely good at. If your website and listing are not right yet, fix those first, we will tell you so.

What should a clinic actually post?

Answers to the questions patients ask in the chair. What a treatment involves, what recovery feels like, when to come in urgently, what a fee covers. Educational posts age well and build trust. Promotional posts do neither.

Can you post before-and-after photos or patient stories?

Only with clear written patient consent, and never in a way that identifies someone who has not agreed. We will not post clinical photographs or testimonials that put a patient's privacy at risk, even when the patient offers. That restraint protects your practice as much as it protects them.

Do you run paid ads on Instagram or Facebook?

No. We are not an advertising agency and we do not manage ad budgets. If paid ads are genuinely right for you, we will say so and step aside.

How often should a clinic post?

Less often than most agencies suggest, and more consistently. A few genuinely useful posts a month beats daily filler, and it is a schedule a busy practice can actually sustain.
